What we use your data for

Part of the data is collected to ensure the website is provided without errors. Other data is used to answer your enquiries and communicate with you.

Advertising and analytics

We do not use advertising networks, advertising tracking or third-party web-analytics tools on this website.

You have the right to receive information about the origin, recipients and purpose of your stored personal data free of charge at any time, and to request its correction or deletion. If you have given consent, you can withdraw it at any time for the future. You also have the right, under certain conditions, to request restriction of processing, and the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. You can contact us at any time regarding any data protection question.

2. General notes and mandatory information

Data protection

The protection of your personal data is important to us. We process your personal data exclusively on the basis of statutory provisions (the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Slovak Act No. 18/2018 Coll. on Personal Data Protection). We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the applicable data protection regulations and this privacy policy. Please note that data transmission over the internet (e.g. communication by email) can have security gaps. Complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible.

Storage period

Unless a more specific storage period is stated within this privacy policy, your personal data remains with us until the purpose for processing no longer applies. If you make a justified request for deletion or withdraw your consent, your data will be deleted unless we have other legally permissible reasons for storing it (e.g. retention periods under tax or commercial law); in that case, deletion takes place after these reasons cease to apply.

Where processing is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, we rely on Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR. Processing may also be based on our legitimate interest under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The relevant legal basis in each case is stated in the following sections.

Transfer of data to third countries

We use services whose provider is located in the USA (our hosting provider, see section 4). Where this service is active, personal data may be transferred to and processed in the USA. The USA is considered a third country. Such transfers are based on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and/or, where the recipient is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (DPF), on that framework.

SSL/TLS encryption

For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, this website uses SSL/TLS encryption. When encryption is active, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

Objection to promotional emails

We hereby object to the use of contact data published within the scope of the imprint obligation for sending unsolicited advertising and information material. The operators reserve the right to take legal action in the event of the unsolicited sending of advertising, e.g. by spam emails.

Recipients of personal data

In the course of our business activities, we work with various external parties. In some cases this requires the transfer of personal data to them. We only pass on personal data where this is necessary for the performance of a contract, where we are legally obliged to do so, where we have a legitimate interest under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, or where another legal basis permits it. When using processors, we only pass on personal data on the basis of a valid data processing agreement.

Your rights

You have the right to: information about your stored data (Art. 15 GDPR); correction of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR); deletion (Art. 17 GDPR); restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR); data portability (Art. 20 GDPR); and to object to processing based on Art. 6(1)(e) or (f) GDPR (Art. 21 GDPR). Where processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time with effect for the future.

3. Data collection on this website

Cookies

Our website uses cookies. These are small text files stored on your device that cause no harm. Cookies may be temporary (session cookies, deleted when you leave the site) or permanent (stored until you or your browser delete them). Some cookies are technically necessary to ensure the basic functions and security of the website; these are stored on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, as we have a legitimate interest in the error-free and secure provision of our services. Where consent is requested for non-essential cookies, processing is based on that consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which can be withdrawn at any time. You can set your browser to inform you about cookies, to allow them only in individual cases, to block them, or to delete them automatically when closing the browser. Disabling cookies may limit the functionality of this website.

Contact by email or phone

If you contact us by email or phone, your enquiry including all resulting personal data (e.g. name, your message) will be stored and processed by us to handle your request. We do not pass on this data without your consent. Processing is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your request relates to a contract or pre-contractual measures, otherwise on our legitimate interest in handling enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) or on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). This data remains with us until you request deletion, withdraw consent, or the purpose ceases to apply. Mandatory statutory retention periods remain unaffected.

Contact form

If you send us a message via the contact form, the data you enter (name, email address, company and your message) is stored to process your enquiry and for follow-up questions. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual / contractual measures) and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
